What is Simple Meter?
Simple Meter is a free level and loudness metering plugin from Awesonix. It is designed to show stereo levels and loudness quickly during mixing and when comparing against references.
PEAK, RMS and TRUE PEAK (BS.1770-4) are shown together in one streamlined view. RMS is presented as a calibrated average-level meter for easier visual comparison. Short-term loudness and dynamic range are also tracked.
Several instances can be linked for A/B comparison. With Monitor CUE, you can listen to the linked CUE (reference) source through the current instance's output while the meters keep showing the comparison between CUE and OUT.
It supports CLAP, VST3, AU and AAX on Windows, macOS and Linux. A free account is needed to download it.
