What is Hush Pro?
Hush Pro is an AudioSuite plug-in for cleaning up dialogue. It uses machine learning to separate speech from room reflections, ambient noise and transient sounds.
Its adaptive processing is described as needing no noise sampling or manual parameter tuning, which may let you treat recordings made in different conditions in the same way.
AudioSuite previews are live, with mute, solo and bypass per channel. Processing runs locally, and it is a one-time purchase with free minor updates within version 1.x.
There are two variants. Hush Mix adjusts speech, reverb and noise levels with dB faders in real time; Hush Split prints each layer to its own lane for non-destructive editing.
ML dialogue isolation
Machine learning separates speech from reverb, noise and transients, which may help when room sound or ambience gets mixed into a dialogue recording.
Adaptive processing
No noise sampling or manual tuning is needed, which may suit workflows where you want less per-clip setup.
Hush Mix
Faders in dB set the amount of speech, reverb and noise in real time, so you can keep a little room sound while listening.
Hush Split
Speech, reverb and noise are rendered to separate lanes, which may suit cases where you want to rework each part later without destroying the original.
Live preview and per-channel controls
AudioSuite previews are live, with mute, solo and bypass per channel, so you can compare before committing.
Apple Silicon acceleration
GPU and Neural Engine on M-series Macs are used for speed. Processing is local, so audio is not sent elsewhere.
