What is 73 JR Preamp?
73 JR Preamp is a plug-in version of Heritage Audio’s microphone preamp (a device that lifts the small signal from a microphone). The company’s hardware is a preamp with the classic “73-style” sound, and the manufacturer explains that the plug-in recreates the character of the Carnhill transformers (input and output) and the high-pass filter that tightens the bass (per the manufacturer).
