What is smart:chain?
smart:chain is a channel strip from sonible (a plug-in that puts together the processing used on one track, such as EQ and compression). It combines EQ, compressor, de-harsh processing (taming sounds that hurt the ears), gate, automatic input leveling, saturation and level matching, and the AI listens to the sound and suggests a starting setting for each process (per the manufacturer).

Features
Eight intelligent processors in one
The official page describes smart:chain as an AI-based channel strip and mixing plug-in. It puts EQ, compressor, de-harsh (processing that suppresses bands that hurt the ears), gate, input riding, saturation, level adjustment and more into one flow.
One analysis sets the starting point of every module
The processors do not work separately; they share the result of the same analysis. Analyzing a source once decides the best starting point for each module. All parameters can be edited by you afterwards.
Several tracks work together (control of the whole mix)
Several plug-ins communicate with one another inside the session and tidy each track within the whole mix. Depth is placed in three layers, front, middle and back, and the processing is adjusted automatically. Group and track operations can be done together (per the manufacturer).
Automatic leveling of the whole project (Auto Leveling)
It analyzes the relationships between the tracks you have trained it on and makes a starting balance that suits the genre. A trim knob lets you fine-tune while keeping the balance. The official page explains that it can reduce the effort of building a mix up from silence.
