Main features of Ample Bass P

An electric bass based on the Fender Precision Bass

It includes two libraries, finger and pick. It includes 13 playing techniques, such as sustain, palm mute, harmonics, hammer-ons and pull-offs, legato slides, slap, pop, tapping and dead notes (the sample size is 5.2 GB).

Riffer 4 and the tab reader

Riffer 4, a MIDI editor for plucked instruments, can switch between a piano roll and tablature. It automatically assigns fingering so that notes on each string do not overlap, and it includes hundreds of bass riffs. There is also a Tab Reader that loads Guitar Pro files (GP3 to GP8).

Built-in amps and effects

It has three bass amps (B15R, BA500 and SVT-Pro) and cabinets from 1×15 to 8×10. For the cabinets you can choose from four kinds of microphones.

Where it is useful

  • Loading tabs or MIDI to make a bass part that sounds real
  • Switching between techniques such as slap and slide to program a bassline
  • Choosing an amp and a cabinet to shape the tone
