What is SC307?
The SC307 is an active 3-way midfield monitor from EVE Audio, intended for near- to midfield listening and also usable as a center channel in surround setups.
It combines two 6.5-inch SilverCone woofers (bass and bass-midrange) with an AMT RS2 tweeter. Three PWM amplifiers deliver 250 W per speaker.
The tweeter is an Air Motion Transformer with a hand-folded diaphragm, and a passive radiator reinforces the low end.
The SMART-knob controls filters and volume, and inputs include XLR, RCA, optical and USB. An All Black Edition is also offered.
3-way design
Bass, bass-mid and high frequencies are handled by separate drivers and amplifiers. Crossovers are listed at 300 Hz and 2800 Hz.
AMT RS2 tweeter
An Air Motion Transformer with a hand-folded diaphragm, driven by a 50 W amplifier.
SMART-knob
Sets filters, volume and LED behavior.
DSP filters
High shelf (-5 to +3 dB), desk filter and low shelf (-5 to +3 dB) are adjustable. Position filter: flat, desk or console.
Subwoofer integration
Satellite filter (flat / 80 Hz high-pass), a 60 to 140 Hz variable sub filter and LFE are supported.
Wide I/O
XLR (L/R/LFE), RCA, optical and USB Type B inputs, with XLR satellite outputs and an RCA sub out.

- Connect the power cable.
- Connect the audio interface via XLR.
- Select the input.
- Match the input level with the dip switch.
- Choose a position filter to suit placement.

- Fix the settings with level-lock and filter-lock.
Mixing in a larger room
As a midfield 3-way, it may suit rooms where you listen from some distance.
