What is Hive 2?
Hive 2 is a software synth from u-he. Its easy-to-read screen, quick sound-making and light CPU load are listed as its features (per the manufacturer).

Features
A CPU-friendly synth with a clear layout
Hive 2 is a synth with a clear layout that lets you make sounds quickly. The official page explains that the CPU load is low without sacrificing flexibility or sound quality.
Three synth engines, two oscillators
The two oscillators have standard waveforms or 2D wavetables, up to 16 unison voices, and a sub oscillator that can be tuned (per the manufacturer). Wavetables can also be used.
