What is RC-20 Retro Color?
RC-20 Retro Color is a creative effect plug-in from XLN Audio that recreates the warm feel of vintage recording equipment. It adds life and texture to a recording, and the six effect modules can be used on their own or together (per the manufacturer).
Presets are provided for drums, keys, guitars, bass, full mixes and post-production, so you can start right away (per the manufacturer).

Six effect modules
The modules are: Noise (vinyl crackle, tape hiss, ambient studio noise, circuit hum, stompbox static and more), Wobble & Flutter (the unstable pitch of record players and tape machines), Saturation & Distortion (from mild saturation to raging fuzz), Degrader & Bitcrusher (the sound of old samplers, with reduced sample rate and bit depth), Reverb, and Volume Drops (the wear and volume loss of tape) (per the manufacturer).
One slider scales everything
A single slider scales the amount of all the modules and controls at once. The manufacturer says you can dial in the right amount, or quickly make intros, outros, drops and transitions.
Presets for any track or mix
Presets for drums, keys, guitars, bass, full mixes and post-production are included. The manufacturer says it works both for giving a vintage feel and for adding texture to modern productions.
