An introduction to EVE Audio TS110, based on information from the maker and distributors: what it does, how to use it and who it may suit. It is not scored.
Your system will sound as a whole, not just a sum of parts.

What is TS110?
The TS110 is an active studio subwoofer from EVE Audio with a proprietary 10-inch woofer and a 400 W PWM amplifier. It is meant to extend the low end of a monitor system rather than to be used alone.
It uses a passive radiator instead of a bass-reflex port, which the maker says avoids port noise.
The DSP only processes the bass driver, so the satellite signal stays analog. In Pure Satellite mode the subwoofer and DSP are bypassed and only the satellite volume can be adjusted.
Inputs cover XLR, optical (TOSLink) and USB Type B, and balanced XLR outputs feed the satellites. It may suit a home studio that wants more low end without changing the main monitors.
Passive radiator design
A passive radiator is used in place of a bass-reflex port. The maker says this avoids port noise, which may make it easier to consider for smaller rooms.
Variable subwoofer filter
The subwoofer filter is variable from 60 to 140 Hz and LFE is supported, so the crossover with the main monitors can be tuned to the room.
Satellite filter and phase switch
The satellite output can be flat or 80 Hz high-pass, and phase switches between 0 and 180 degrees. These help blend the low end with the main monitors.
Three input types
Choose between analog (XLR), optical (TOSLink) and USB Type B. Input level is set with a +8 dBu / +22 dBu switch.
Pure Satellite mode
This mode bypasses the subwoofer and DSP and adjusts only the satellite volume, handy for checking a mix without the added bass.
Lock and safety functions
Level-lock and filter-lock switches, a parameter lock that holds settings without power, and Safe Fade-In at power-up are included. LED brightness is adjustable.

What is included and system requirements
- Remote control
How to use it
- Place the subwoofer near the main monitors at the front of the room.
- Connect the audio interface outputs to the subwoofer via XLR.
- Connect the subwoofer's XLR outputs to the main monitors.
- Select the input (analog, optical or USB).
- Set the input level switch to +8 dBu or +22 dBu to match your gear.
- Adjust the subwoofer filter within 60 to 140 Hz.
- Switch phase between 0 and 180 degrees and keep the setting with the smoother low-end blend.
- Once settled, fix the settings with the level-lock and filter-lock switches.
Home mixing
If small monitors make the low end hard to judge, a subwoofer may help. Pure Satellite mode may allow comparing with and without the added bass.
Video editing and post-production
LFE input support may let it fit into a setup for checking low-end effects in video work.
Streaming and gaming
The USB input may allow a direct connection from a computer to add low end.
Who it may suit
- People who want to add low end to small monitors
- Those looking for a portless design
- Users who want XLR, optical and USB inputs
Good to know before you buy
- The unit weighs 19.6 kg, so check placement and floor support.
